Forbidden Fruit — Limited Edition Silkscreen Print

Forbidden Fruit by Leena Al Ayoobi

A woman holds a pomegranate against a flowing composition of expressive faces, patterned forms and a crescent moon. Rich black shapes contrast with delicate linework, creating a striking artwork that invites closer exploration.

Figures turn through different orientations, bringing movement and unexpected connections to the composition. Drawing on Bahraini heritage, Forbidden Fruit reflects Leena Al Ayoobi’s distinctive visual language, with women at the centre of its unfolding story.

Individually hand-pulled using a silkscreen process, each print carries subtle variations that reflect its handmade nature.
